Full List of the Spiritual Gifts

The spiritual gifts are supernatural abilities bestowed by the Holy Spirit on believers in Jesus Christ. These gifts are mentioned multiple times in the Bible, including 1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12, and Ephesians 4. The Holy Spirit is thought to bestow nine gifts, which are split into three categories: revelation gifts, power gifts, and vocal gifts. These are explained here on mend my net, below;

Revelation Gifts

Word of Wisdom – the ability to receive and apply divine wisdom and insight to a particular situation.

Word of Knowledge – the ability to receive supernatural knowledge about a person, place, or thing.

Discernment of Spirits – the ability to discern whether a spirit or influence is from God, the enemy, or human origin.

Power Gifts

Faith – the ability to believe in God and His promises beyond what is seen or logical.

Healing – the ability to heal physical, emotional, or spiritual ailments through prayer, touch or other supernatural means.

Miracles – the ability to perform supernatural acts that defy the laws of nature and science.

Vocal gifts

Prophecy – the ability to speak a message from God to people or to the church.

Tongues – the ability to speak in a language unknown to the speaker, which may require interpretation by another person.

Interpretation of Tongues – the ability to interpret a message spoken in tongues so that others can understand it.

It’s important to note that not every believer may receive every gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives these gifts according to His own will, and they are given to empower and equip believers for ministry and to build up the body of Christ. Which one do you operate in, and which one do you desire?

The spiritual gifts are not meant to be used for personal gain or to exalt oneself, but rather to serve others and bring glory to God. Christians are encouraged to seek the gifts of the Holy Spirit and to use them in accordance with biblical principles and in the context of a healthy, Christ-centered community. The more reason why Christians must have both the gifts and the fruit of the Spirit.
